Which LED light is best for my skin?

So what is LED light therapy?

Light emitting diode [ LED] is the application of specific wavelengths of light energy to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits for a variety of conditions including skin, pain and hair restoration.

At my skin clinic in Addlestone the focus is on improving skin health for either anti ageing purposes or to improve acne and blemish prone skin.

How does it work?

The absorbed energy is used to improve skin cells.Increased fibroblast proliferation is just one benefit of LED red light therapy. Fibroblasts make collagen fibres, so it stands to reason that the more, and healthier, fibroblasts we have in the skin, the more and better collagen fibres are made. And as we all know, collagen synthesis and maintenance is the bedrock of anti-aging.

For acne and blemish prone skin Celluma’s blue wavelengths kill the bacteria that causes breakouts, while reducing the inflammation, pimples and redness associated with acne.

This super relaxing treatment only takes 30 mins and is a great way to also reduce stress levels, anxiety and improve your sleep also.

Most patients experience immediate results and leave their skin feeling like it is glowing. For pain management Infra red LED is excellent : stiff, sore and painful joints may experience improvements with one to three sessions.

Keep in mind that results vary from patients to patient depending on the severity of the condition and adherence to protocols. All 3 lights are utilised at my clinic in Addlestone.
