What is a Chemical peel?
A blend of gentle acids to help treat numerous skin concerns by increasing cell turnover to reveal brighter smoother more youthful skin.It can actually be a gentler & more effective form of exfoliation than your average physical scrub. If you are new to my clinic in Addlestone & to getting a chemical peel then we will always begin with a consultation to see if this is the most suitable treatment for you & probably start you with a gentler alternative to increase your skin's resilience .

Frequently asked questions about chemical peels:

How does it feel?

The sensation ranges from a gentle tingle to a mild warmth

Will I actually "peel"?

It is normal as part of the healing process to experience mild flaking, dryness or tighteness , it all depends on the individual
& the condition of their skin prior to treatment. To achieve maximum results will require regular treatments. One session at the gym does not give you a six pack is a phrase I often use!

Will I be really red afterwards?

The ingredients in a peel will increase blood circulation so it is normal to have a 'rosy glow" afterwards , once the post peel serums & SPF have been applied , clients love how fresh, luminous & radiant their skin feels. I often recommend 15mins of red or blue LED post peel to calm & accelerate results, particularly if I have performed blackhead extractions.
Cost: £100
LED light [£25 recommended ]
All peels include a 5 day post procedure skincare kit worth £30 to use in place of your regular products.
